St Patrick's Cathedral. Foundations laid in 450AD. St Patrick came to Dublin in 432AD. He was kidnapped by pirates. He escaped and then had a dream that the Irish people needed him. He returned and converted the people to Christianity. Before, they were all pagan. Jonathan Swift is know for being a dean here. He wrote A Modest Proposal in response to the British government letting children starve.
